Retail firm Kroger launched its Yearly Checkout feature, which offers customers a personalized breakdown of annual grocery savings and shopping habits. According to Kroger, customers have saved billions through a combination of discounts, promotions, and everyday low pricing.
Kroger Leverages Data Tool to Spotlight Customer Savings
Korger has facilitated a service that will help customers view their personalized savings, giving insights into their most purchased products, according to the company.
It also gives details of their grocery trips, by logging into their loyalty accounts on the Kroger app or the company’s official website and selecting Yearly Checkout through February 28.
“In 2025, we offered our customers record savings across the store on the everyday items that matter the most to their families and even more discounts during those special moments throughout the year,” said Mary Ellen Adcock, Executive Vice President and Chief Merchant and Marketing Officer.
“With everyday low prices, weekly savings opportunities, and fuel points, at Kroger, we are committed to helping customers save in all areas of their budget,” Adcock added.
Kroger Supports Zero Hunger Efforts
Kroger has not only helped customers save, but also led 518 million meals to communities last year with the help of the Zero Hunger| Zero Waste initiative.
The company has offered over 3.9 billion meals across the country since its program launched in 2017. The retailer said its pricing and quality policies are made to ensure that the shoppers do not have to trade quality for affordability.
Through transparent shelf pricing and its fresh and quality guarantees, the company hopes to help customers purchase daily grocery items at more competitive prices without paying a large amount for the same.
The Yearly Checkout feature will help customers gain greater visibility into their grocery spending and savings habits.
