Beers of the World, a wholesaler and retailer of imported and domestic beverages, has announced it will permanently close its Henrietta location on February 28. While the brand will continue to keep the original Batavia store open, it is closing down the Henrietta location.
Beers of the World Announces Closure of Henrietta Location
Specializing in imported and domestic beers, Beers of the World operates under Angotti Beverage Corporation. The brand brings together hard-to-find brews from around the nation and abroad. Its ‘buy single bottles or packs’ offer led to the brand’s popularity years ago.
The company announced it is closing down after nearly four decades of operations in a social media post. The company cited changes in the economy and beer industry as reasons for the closure.
“To our loyal customers, due to changes in the economy and beer industry, as of Saturday, February 28, 2026, we will be closing our location at 2599 E. Henrietta Rd, that will be our last day of operation here,” the post read.

The company also noted that its other location will remain open. “Our other location, Angotti Beverage @61 Jackson St, Batavia, NY, will continue to remain open,” it said.
Beers of the World thanked its loyal customers for their long-standing support. “Thank you for your years of support and patronage at this location!” the post read.
Beers of the World Reduces Working Hours
The store will reduce its hours beginning January 4 ahead of the closure.
“Starting Sunday, January 4, 2026, we will be going to reduced hours as follows. Monday through Saturday, we will be open 10am–5pm, Sunday we will be closed,” the post concluded.
While the closure will leave a gap for local customers, the company’s other store will continue operations, allowing the brand to carry forward its legacy.
