26-Year-Old Food Logistics Firm Cuts Jobs at Belcamp Site

United Source One, a food distribution and export firm, laid off 8 employees on March 4, according to the WARN notice filed by it. The layoffs affected employees at the company’s Belcamp facility. The company did not cite any reason for the layoffs.

According to the WARN notice, United Source One laid off employees from the facility at 4610 Mercedes Drive, Suite 110, Belcamp, MD 21017. The notice filed on March 11, 2026, lists the action as a mass layoff with no recall.

Under the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN), employers must inform state authorities about layoffs and closures. It is to give affected workers and communities time to anticipate the effects on their economies.

The filing did not give details about the exact roles impacted or the operational reasons behind the layoffs.

The company specializes in distributing high-quality American food products. The focus is on premium beef, proteins, and other foodservice products in international markets. The company has a strong presence in Middle Eastern markets.

United Source One was established in 2000. It connects American food suppliers with distributors, restaurant owners, and importers across the globe.
