Noise Entertainment & Media LLC has voluntarily entered bankruptcy proceedings, joining a pool of other media-based companies. Formerly known as Noise Entertainment & Media, Inc., the company has been offering solutions related to media and technology in Atlanta.

The company has opted to proceed as a small business debtor, seeking to readjust its debts. Operations are expected to continue as normal under the guidance of the court.

Noise Entertainment & Media LLC Seeks Chapter 11 Protection

The company made a voluntary filing on April 6, 2026, according to case filings available on the PACER database. Rasool D. Mallik II, the company’s owner and president, is listed as the authorized representative in the court filings.

Attorney Brian S. Limbocker of Limbocker Law Firm is offering legal representation to the company in court.

Proceedings are currently underway in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, case filings add.

Filing details add that the company has aggregate noncontingent liquidated debts of less than $3,424,000. This amount excludes debts owed to insiders or affiliates and is subject to adjustment on April 1, 2028, and every three years thereafter.

Noise Entertainment & Media LLC submitted a list of creditors who have the 20 largest unsecured claims and are not insiders. Some of these include Capital One, Celtic Bank, and the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The company also submitted standard Chapter 11 documents, including a summary of assets and liabilities, a statement of financial affairs, a corporate ownership statement, attorney compensation disclosure, and a list of equity security holders.

Callaway Arts & Entertainment, Inc. is a recent name in this backdrop, as it filed for Chapter 11 on March 23, 2026. The NY-based book publishing and media company has collaborated with Madonna, Bob Dylan, and others through the years. As of now, the creditors’ meeting is scheduled for April 28, 2026, and the Chapter 11 plan is for July 21, 2026.

Another company on the list is ACX1 Studios LLC. It made its filing on March 13, 2026, for readjustment of finances. The movie and TV production company operates an Atlantic City, NJ-based studio spanning 550,000 square feet. Its petition notes that the filing was made under Subchapter V of Chapter 11. The aggregate noncontingent liquidated debts are less than $3,424,000.

Days before this, an audio media company from Atlanta had sought bankruptcy relief along with 40 of its affiliates. Cumulus Media Inc. stated that it had initiated a prepackaged Chapter 11 process, which its lenders have supported. The company owns and operates 395 radio stations across 84 U.S. locations and serves nearly 250 million listeners every month.

With its filing, Noise Entertainment & Media LLC now becomes part of a wave of bankruptcies in the media and entertainment industry. The case is expected to continue in the coming months as it works through the court-guided restructuring process.
