Suzanna’s Kitchen has voluntarily recalled a batch of Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Portions shipped nationwide. Suzanna’s Kitchen, a national food manufacturer, operates food processing facilities that produce fully cooked meat and poultry products for retail, foodservice, and institutional customers.
Why Suzanna’s Kitchen Recalled Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Portions
Suzanna’s Kitchen, based in Suwanee, Georgia, is recalling fully cooked breaded chicken products. The recall was prompted by misbranding and an undeclared soy allergen, both of which pose a risk to people with soy allergies. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said the products contain soy that is not declared on the label. The products were shipped to restaurants nationwide. The issue was identified after the company notified FSIS that the chicken had been misbranded with a non-allergen product code despite containing soy.
Details About the Recalled Batch
The company is recalling approximately 62,550 pounds of product, which was produced on October 16, 2025, and can be identified with the following details:
- Product Name: 8-piece cut Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Portions
- Product Weight: 18-lb. cases containing four units of product each
- Case Code: P-1380 126237 B30851 23:11 K04
- Establishment Number: P-1380
FSIS is urging restaurants to check their refrigerators and freezers and not serve products made with the recalled chicken.
