California-Based Regional Automotive Repair Business Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Amirepair I Inc., a towing and auto repair shop in Lake Isabella, California, that has operated for nearly 31 years, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company is currently doing business as Precision Automotive Paint & Collision & Towing, the petition states.

Daily operations are expected to continue as normal while the case moves through bankruptcy court.

Amirepair I Inc. Enters Bankruptcy as a Small Business Debtor

On April 10, 2026, the company began the Chapter 11 process by filing as required with by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California.

According to case filings on RK Consultants, it is a small business debtor as defined in 11 U.S.C. § 101(51D). In addition, it has decided to move forward under Subchapter V of Chapter 11.

Case filings state that the aggregate noncontingent liquidated debts of Amirepair I Inc. are less than $3,424,000. This amount excludes debts owed to business insiders or affiliates and is subject to adjustment on April 1, 2028, and every three years thereafter.

At the time of filing, both assets and liabilities of Amirepair I Inc. exceeded $1 million.

The petition was signed by the company’s President, Ashley Miller, before it was submitted to the court. Attorney Lisa Holder of Lisa Noxon Holder, PC, is representing the company.
