Limited Time Fried Pickle Taco Launching Today at Del Taco

To mark National Pickle Month, Del Taco is debuting an unexpected new menu item. The most unexpected mashup is here, the Fried Pickle Taco! This launch taps into trending flavors with Del Taco’s signature spin.

Del Taco has a reputation for bold menu experiments, and this is no exception. Starting from July 15, 2025, Del Taco outlets in the following locations will serve the limited-time Fried Pickle Taco:

  • Los Angeles County
  • Orange
  • Riverside
  • Ventura County
  • San Bernardino

The Fried Pickle Taco features a crispy, breaded dill pickle spear wrapped in a warm tortilla, topped with shredded lettuce, house-grated cheddar, diced tomatoes, and creamy ranch. The limited-time item will only be available while supplies last.

“Del Taco has always embraced the unexpected, and we couldn’t resist putting our own spin on the trending pickle moment,” said Sarah McAloon, interim president of Del Taco.

The chain has previously experimented with unique offerings like Birria Ramen and churro milkshakes. Fans of bold, crunchy flavors may want to act fast; the Fried Pickle Taco won’t be around for long.
