Groom’s Cake Makes A Sweet Return This Summer
Blue Bells Creameries is bringing back a beloved ice cream flavor that it discontinued back in 2018. Groom’s Cake is mixed with chocolate cake pieces and chocolate-coated strawberry hearts. The luscious milk chocolate ice cream also includes rich strawberry sauce and chocolate icing.
The delicious treat, which is set to make this summer a little more sweet, was first launched in 2009. Groom’s Cake will now be seen in stores across the country in pints and half-gallon cartons.

The Texas-based ice cream brand decided to revive Groom’s Cake after it received the most votes in its ‘Great Scoop Revival Flavor Tournament.’ Held online last year, the tournament was based on the premise of bringing up its retired sweet flavors through customer voting.
There were a total of 16 flavors, including Lemon Bliss, Tiramisu, and Blueberry Cheesecake. But the final voting round came between Groom’s Cake and Cookie Cake. Groom’s Cake emerged as the winner.

Groom’s Cake is not the only flavor that will be launched this season by Blue Bell Creameries. To make this summer fun, the ice cream giant will bring Bride’s Cake Flavor. The almond ice cream flavor is made up of mouthwatering white cake pieces. The taste grows further with its amaretto cream cheese icing swirl.
The runner-up of the ‘Great Scoop Revival Flavor Tournament,’ Cookie Cake, will also be brought to Blue Bell’s fans in May. This flavor offers a delightful mix of chocolate chip cake pieces for those with a sweet tooth. It will also delight buyers with vanilla and chocolate icing swirls.
