Bella Family Dental, Inc. has formally entered bankruptcy proceedings. The dental service provider has made this move to reorganize its finances. The practice will continue serving patients during the restructuring process.

Bella Family Dental, Inc. Seeks Chapter 11 Protection

Bella Family Dental, Inc. filed a Chapter 11 petition with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, according to the latest case details on PACER. Court records show the company filed a voluntary Chapter 11 petition on February 18 under Subchapter V.

The company qualified as a small business debtor, allowing it to file under Subchapter V. The dental service provider’s aggregate noncontingent, liquidated debts are less than $3,424,000.

Attorney Richard R. Robles of Richard Robles, PA, is legally representing the Doral, Florida-based dental practice in court. The petition lists Vice President Ruben A. Delgado as the company’s authorized representative.

Company Background

Bella Family Dental is known for providing general and cosmetic dentistry-related services at its Florida locations in Doral and Pembroke Pines. According to its Instagram page, the Doral office opened in July 2021. Years before this, the Pembroke Pines clinic opened its doors in 2011.

The services include Invisalign, dental implants, bridges, crowns, and porcelain veneers.

The practice promotes personalized care, patient comfort, and advanced technology across both locations. The Florida community receives both routine checkups and a complete smile makeover at its two locations.

Previous Bankruptcy Filings by Healthcare Companies

Healthcare providers across the U.S., including diagnostics companies and regional hospitals, have faced mounting financial pressure in recent years. Bella Family Dental’s filing reflects that broader trend.

Before this, a cardiac diagnostics provider, Lev Diagnostics Inc., had entered Chapter 11 Subchapter V proceedings on January 14, 2026. After being set up in 1995, the company served hospitals, clinics and others through on-site cardiac diagnostic services.

The Northbrook-based company sought to address a widening gap between its assets and liabilities through the filing.

Rock Regional Hospital, LLC also filed for Chapter 11 amid financial challenges. This acute hospital in Derby, Kansas, made a voluntary Chapter 11 filing last year on December 7. Known for its solutions related to imaging, surgical, and emergency care, the hospital listed 200 to 999 creditors in its petition.

Filing details showed that the regional hospital had a significant gap between its assets and liabilities, which a reorganization plan during the bankruptcy could reduce.

It Is Well Healthcare, LLC was also a prominent name in the wave of bankruptcy filings in 2025. The primary care aesthetic service provider, which is based in Georgia’s Dallas and Tallapoosa locations, submitted a Chapter 11 petition on October 9.

It Is Well Healthcare, LLC attempted to restructure its surging debts through the filing, while operations continued as normal under court supervision.
