Lay’s Launches A Limited-Time Flavor and Fans Are Thrilled
Those waiting to munch on the Lay’s Thai-Style Red Curry chips can expect the taste of the infamous Thai red curry. The seasoning does offer the snack an authentic Thai flavor, but it’s not too spicy, as per reviewers and certain consumers who have already purchased multiple bags. The snack has an aromatic fragrance and appears to be laden with flavor. Nevertheless, a few felt that the chips could use a bit more seasoning.
The news of the new flavor of Lay’s hitting the stores was released through the Instagram page @candyhunting, which is known for sharing junk food news. Fans expressed their excitement in the comments of the post.
Where to Grab the New Lay’s?
Lay’s Thai-Style Red Curry chips will exclusively be available at Kroger’s nationwide and its banner stores like Pick n Save, City Market, Fred Meyer, and the rest. The price for a 7.75-ounce bag comes to under $5.
The new Lay’s Thai-Style Red Curry chips are a Limited edition, which means they will be available at stores for a limited period only.
Lay’s Rolls Out New Flavors Back to Back
Since the beginning of this year, Lay’s has introduced a whole bunch of new flavors to the US market, keeping its fans on their toes throughout. Frito-Lay, the company that owns the Lay’s brand, has been launching brand new flavors across its other brands, too.
The highly-anticipated Canadian Lay’s All Dressed debuted in the US in January. Then came the Poppables Sweet Potato Sea Salt flavor in March. April saw the arrival of three new flavors, which were created by fans: Bacon Grilled Cheese, Valentina & Lime, and Wavy Korean-Style Fried Chicken.
Frito-Lay also debuted the “Simply” line of snacks this year. Furthermore, it released the Flamin’ Hot Korean-Style BBQ-flavored Doritos for a limited time. Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Cheetos, which was a “most requested flavor,” vanished soon after they hit the stores. SunChips Honey BBQ, Rold Gold Selects, and Ruffles Greek-Style Ranch were also some selections that were introduced in the past few months.
