Local Medical Services Company Faces Major Financial Shift, Files Chapter 11

RyzeMD Corporation, a Tampa, Florida-based healthcare provider, has voluntarily decided to move forward with a bankruptcy process. The details given in its Chapter 11 petition state that the business has more than $2 million in unsecured debts.

The company will proceed as a small business debtor, and operations are expected to continue uninterrupted during the restructuring.

RyzeMD Corporation Enters Chapter 11 Proceedings

The debtor filed a Chapter 11 petition on April 2, 2026, as per case records shown on the PACER database. Dr. Wanda Cruz, the authorized representative who is currently the president of the debtor business, signed the petition before it was filed.

The records on RK Consultants state that it is a healthcare business pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 101(27A). Additional details on RK Consultants show that RyzeMD Corporation is a small business debtor as defined in 11 U.S.C. § 101(51D), and that it is decided to proceed under Subchapter V of Chapter 11.

The proceedings are currently being held in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. Attorney Justin M Luna of Latham, Luna, Eden & Beaudine, LLP is offering legal representation to the debtor.

Company Lists Over $2 Million in Unsecured Debts

As of now, the debtor has between 1 and 49 creditors. Court filings state that RyzeMD Corporation submitted a list of creditors who have the 20 largest unsecured claims and are not insiders. The total value of all the unsecured claims is more than $2 million.

Perpetual Love Equities is the largest unsecured creditor with over $1 million in unsecured claims. The second largest unsecured claim has been made by Banco Popular K-2 Financing, which amounts to a little over $950,000.

Court filings indicate that funds will be available for distribution to the unsecured creditors.
