Titan International has submitted a WARN notice to the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, announcing the permanent closure of its facility in Jackson, Tennessee. The notice states that 153 employees will be affected.
Titan International to Begin Mass Layoffs
According to a WARN notice filed on March 19, Titan International will shut down its facility at 2500 Dr. F.E. Wright Drive in Jackson, Tennessee. With 153 employees getting laid off, the shutdown is scheduled to take effect on May 18, 2026.
The company also pointed out that a collective bargaining agreement does not represent the employees who are impacted and does not have bumping rights. The Southwest Local Workforce Development Area rapid response team, through Workforce Innovations Inc., has been notified to coordinate support services for impacted workers.
The Southwest Local Workforce Development Board will oversee and continue follow-up efforts related to Rapid Response and Dislocated Worker services tied to the layoffs.
