Stone Bridge Brewing Company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on July 15, 2025. According to PacerMonitor, this case has been filed in the Court of the Western District of Pennsylvania. Stone Bridge operates its main brewery in Johnstown, along with the Wine Loft on Franklin Street and the Craft Kitchen in Greensburg.

Post-pandemic financial pressures led the small business to seek bankruptcy protection and restructure its operations. The petition has been filed under subchapter V reporting assets of $100,001 to $500,000 and liabilities of $1,000,001 to $10 million.

Among the creditors between 1 to 49, major ones are Bridgeway Capital, Douglas F. Damico, and CFS CAP, LLC dba CashFund. Christopher M. Frye of Steidl & Steinberg, P.C., is representing the case.

Founded in 2018, Stone Bridge Brewing Company built a loyal customer base with its rotating and fixed brews. While the Chapter 11 filing marks a major transition, the company hopes to emerge stronger through restructuring.

The brand and its outlets are a personal vision into every aspect of the brand, from its taproom ambiance to its community-oriented menus. Their background in the industry shaped everything from the taproom design to the rotating beer selection and dining concept.
