Supreme Service Solutions, LLC helping facilitate a recall involving several Boar’s Head brand. The products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. No illness has been reported to date, but the company is moving forward with the recall out of caution.

Urgent Recall Issued by Supreme Service Solutions, LLC

On November 24, 2025, Supreme Service Solutions, LLC, issued a recall of products. The recall covers multiple products sold under the Boar’s Head label.

The recall is being carried out in cooperation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Ambriola Company first detected the potential contamination. This supplier produces several products for different brands, including Boar’s Head. The supplier initiated its own recall, prompting Boar’s Head to follow suit.

Boar’s Head also pulled all products sourced from Ambriola Company. Meanwhile, Supreme Service Solutions, LLC also assisted the Brand with the recall. The company is recalling products that contain the cheese products that Boar’s Head is recalling.

Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause several health risks in people. However, it has more serious effects on pregnant women, children, the frail, and the elderly. Pregnant women can experience miscarriages, stillbirths, and premature delivery.

It can cause life-threatening infections in newborns and can be fatal to others. Healthy individuals may develop flu-like symptoms such as fever, muscle aches, and headaches. While no illnesses have been reported yet, consumers are urged to discard any recalled items immediately.

Description of Recalled Products

Boar’s Head has recalled three products supplied by Ambriola Company. Although only two items may be affected, the company is recalling all three out of caution. Here is a description of the affected products:

  • Boar’s Head Grated Pecorino Romano Cheese: 6 oz; Item Code – 858; Case UPC – 042421-05858; Sell-by Dates – 11/21/25 to 3/12/26
  • FS Grated Romano Cheese: Item Code – 15119; Case UPC – 042421-15119; Sell-by Dates – 11/21/25 to 3/12/26

Here’s a description of the unaffected product, which is also being recalled:

  • Pre-cut Pecorino Romano: Item Code – 15160; Case UPC – 042421-15160; Sell-by Dates – 11/25/25 to 5/11/26

Supreme Service Solutions, LLC, is also recalling products that contain the abovementioned products. These were distributed in Kroger retail stores in KY and IN. The products are packaged in clear-plastic grab-n-go containers of various sizes.

They appear as deli salads and wraps. Here is a detailed description of the products:
