Taco Bell Revives its Decades Y2K Menu from the 2000s
According to a recent Taco Bell news release, the chain is reviving the Decades Y2K Menu. Featuring names like Caramel Apple Empanada and 7-Layer Burrito, the menu drops across the U.S. on September 9.

The latest Decades Y2K will offer customers the following five delicious picks, all priced under $3.
Cool Ranch® Doritos® Locos Tacos: Available for $2.49, this tempting item is a continuation of the original Nacho Cheese Doritos® Locos Tacos. The new taco features a crunchier shell with seasoned beef, cheddar, and lettuce filling.
7-Layer Burrito: Priced at $2.49, the 7-Layer Burrito offers a vegetarian-friendly mix of beans, rice, guacamole, and cheese. This filling of the iconic 7-layered item is then wrapped inside a flour tortilla.
Chili Cheese Burrito: The beloved Taco Bell item returns next month at a price of $2.99. A cult favorite, the Chili Cheese Burrito features chili and cheddar cheese covered inside a flour tortilla.
Double Decker Taco: Priced at $2.49, this Taco Bell item debuted in 1995 and was revived in 2006. The Double Decker Taco combines a bean-filled soft tortilla with a crunchy shell, stuffed with shredded cheddar, lettuce, and seasoned beef.
Caramel Apple Empanada: Marking its comeback in September, the delicious Caramel Apple Empanada is priced at $2.99. Fans can savor its warm apple pieces and creamy caramel filling wrapped inside a crispy golden crust.
Taco Bell Brings a New $9 Discovery Luxe Cravings Box
The menu return coincides with the 20th anniversary of Taco Bell’s signature Crunchwrap Supreme.
To celebrate the signature item, Taco Bell brings the new $9 Discovery Luxe Cravings Box. This includes the Crunchwrap Supreme, Crunchy Taco, Chips & Nacho Cheese Sauce, Cool Ranch® Doritos® Locos Tacos, and a medium fountain drink.
Taylor Montgomery, the Chief Marketing Officer, said, “No one did the 2000s like Taco Bell. That era gave us some of our most iconic menu items, including the Crunchwrap Supreme, which remains one of our best-sellers two decades later.”
Perks for Taco Bell Rewards Members
Rewards members can access the Caramel Apple Empanada in the app from September 2–8, ahead of the nationwide launch on September 9.
Additionally, the Rewards Members can get exclusive Y2K merch featuring a Y2K digital watch and vintage-style shirts. The partnership with Ed Hardy will offer them a chance to get a one-of-a-kind collab hat as well. These perks will be offered on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis, though weekly Tuesday Drops will be from September 2 through 16.
