The growing Tex-Mex brand Capital Tacos will soon be opening its Clermont location before heading to Lady Lake and Ocala, according to a recent report in The Orlando Business Journal.

“Upon opening, this location will introduce The Orange Carnitas Taco, a limited-time menu item,” the report states regarding the Clermont location.

“The dish is inspired by the orange groves that once grew in Clermont. It features hand-shredded pork carnitas tossed in a homemade orange marmalade with grilled poblano peppers, lettuce, sour cream and cotija cheese.”

Capital Tacos features a robust Tex-Mex menu with notable American and interior Mexican influences. As an appetizer, customers may have their queso with either chips or fries, or hand-shucked, grilled corn seasoned with chili and cheese.

In the way of main dishes, the chain offers the classic selection of burritos, tacos, and salads, featuring unique fillings such as fried avocado, tiger shrimp, and homemade chorizo. For dessert, customers can order churros and Mexican cheesecake.

Until the new locations open their doors, taco-lovers can have the Capital Tacos experience at 18 N Dollins Ave in Orlando, or at any other of its locations in Florida, Atlanta, or Charlotte, NC.
