When the 14-story Walt Disney World Swan Reserve opens, it will have four restaurants. Its signature restaurant, Amare, will be a casual, upscale venue inspired by the tastes and cultures of the Mediterranean region. According to a Marriott marketing representative, the hotel, originally slated to be open in October, is now expected to open in mid-November.
Amare’s menu focuses on highlighting fresh premium ingredients popular in the area, including a wide variety of seafood, citrus, olive oils, pasta and pitas, according to a press release. The restaurant will feature an extensive Mediterranean-based wine list featuring several specialized wine flights with selections from across the region.
The other restaurants in the Swan Reserve will be grab-and-go type venues. Poolside, guests can visit Tangerine, which will offer salads and sandwiches. Grounds will feature craft coffee, sandwiches and pastries. Stir will be the airy, tropical lobby bar that will serve specialty cocktails and light bites.
As a nod to the area’s rich citrus history, according to the press release, the menu in all four venues at Marriott’s Swan Reserve, an the newest upscale resort on Disney property but not owned or operated by Disney, will feature citrus-inspired entrées, desserts and craft cocktails.
