Husband and wife Hien Pham and Huong Nguyen are bringing the Orlando area Pho Ga Hien Vuong, a genuine treatment of the Vietnamese dish pho ga. The couple will present the concept at 5282 W. Colonial Drive, where Zero Degrees used to operate, according to a report from Orlando Weekly.
The experienced restaurateurs also own the Vietnamese restaurant ZAsian on East Colonial, but their experience has deeper roots. During a phone conversation on Wednesday, Pham shared that he and his wife opened a pho ga concept that was similar to their forthcoming establishment in downtown Boston.
What will differentiate this pho ga concept from others is the meticulous and traditional method of crafting their broths, along with using fresh proteins. Everything will be fresh, all the way down to the house-made noodles. Pham recalls that finding pho ga made with traditional Vietnamese craft is difficult in the United States.
The couple has recently moved into their new space and are working on getting permits in order. Pham believes it will be about three months before they can get their doors open.
