Black Bear Kitchen, the popular Montverde-based eatery, appears to be readying a new location in Clermont, according to recent public records. The restaurant will be located at 756 W Montrose St, near Twisted Sugar and Roasted Spirit.

“Guess who’s coming to Downtown Clermont?” Black Bear Kitchen announced on their official website. “Well, ok you guessed right, Black Bear Kitchen is proud to announce we will be opening this summer Downtown in The Art District. Stay tuned for more info.”

While it has not yet been made clear whether the new location will serve the original menu, readers can reasonably expect the establishment to serve up classic and casual American dishes such as smoked brisket, turkey pastrami, grilled cheese sandwiches, BLT, pulled pork, and hot wings, among others.

“We want to be your place for a long lunch with good friends, or a first date with a future love,” the establishment declares on the official website. “Your place for birth announcements, team celebrations, birthdays, or just a good meal with your family. We want this restaurant to be a place of welcome.”

No opening date has yet been made public.
