Sabor de Minas, a locally-owned and operated Brazilian bakery, will soon be opening a second location, according to recent public records. The establishment will be located at 273 Babcock Street, near the Indian River coastline.
“We will be serving lunch at this second location,” owner Admir Siman tells What Now Orlando. “The first location is only a bakery, where we serve empanadas and other pastries.”
While Siman did not specify menu details, he affirms that the new lunch offerings will reflect the cuisine of Minas Gerias, a large interior state of Brazil known for its gastronomy, architecture, and music, amongst other significant cultural contributions.
Siman shares that the Babcock Street location was the result of an “opportunity that came up” and that other locations are likely in the future: “It’s possible that we keep expending, depending on the opportunities that may arise.”
As of yet, there is not opening dates, though Siman anticipates the restaurant to be up and running by the fall.
