Barros Super Market, a new Brazilian-Portuguese eatery and market, will soon come to 5345 W Irlo Bronson Hwy in Kissimmee, according to recent public records.

“I already had property here in town,” co-owner Diogo Barros tells What Now Orlando when asked about his motivations to open an establishment in Kissimmee. “I didn’t notice any Brazilian buffets in the area, despite there being many Brazilians in the area.”

Barros adds that the market’s hot food section will be a buffet-style restaurant serving Brazilian, Portuguese, and grilled BBQ-style dishes. The market will also feature a meat market, grocery, and bakery section.

When can eager readers expect Barros and his partner João Leandro’s establishment to open?

“We are currently in the permitting process,” he says. “But we are aiming to open in December, before Christmas.”
