BrewDog, the craft brewery and taproom, is coming to Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Operator SSP America filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation for a pub to be located at Unit AS2-F-13, Airside 2 at MCO, located at 1 Jeff Fuqua Boulevard. No opening date has been announced.

MCO is undergoing a massive improvement project, with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) Board approving facilities enhancements that includes a concession master plan that will add more than three dozen restaurants and retail shops for travelers to enjoy. Full completion of the project is scheduled for 2027.

BrewDog was founded in 2007 in the U.K. by James Watt and Martin Dickie, who decided they wanted to brew some innovative beers. They started their brewery in northeast Scotland, filling each bottle by hand and selling their wares from an old van. The brewery grew and in 2015, BrewDog opened its first U.S. taproom in Columbus, Ohio. In 2018, BrewDog opened a beer-centric hotel adjacent to the Columbus brewpub. Today, there are nine BrewDog locations in the U.S., including one at Columbus Airport.

BrewDog brews a series of beers with an emphasis on IPAs and lagers, including a citrus IPA called Elvis Juice. In addition, it offers a good variety of non-alcoholic beers designed to appeal to people who enjoy a good beer without the ABV.
