The quickly growing Tampa-based Tex-Mex chain Capital Tacos will soon be opening a new location at 1042 E Hwy 50 in Clermont, according to a recent filing with the State of Florida. The upcoming store will be near eateries such as #1 Wok and OMG Juice.
Capital Tacos features a robust Tex-Mex menu with notable American and interior Mexican influences. As an appetizer, customers may have their queso with either chips or fries, or hand-shucked, grilled corn seasoned with chili and cheese. In the way of main dishes, the chain offers the classic selection of burritos, tacos, and salads, featuring unique fillings such as fried avocado, tiger shrimp, and homemade chorizo. For dessert, customers can order churros and Mexican cheesecake.
What Now Orlando briefly reached out to franchisee Jim Kerr, who states that the team anticipates an opening sometime in February 2023.
Until the Clermont location opens its doors, taco-lovers can have the Capital Tacos experience at 18 N Dollins Ave in Orlando, or at any other of its locations in Florida, Atlanta, or Charlotte, NC.
