National ice cream favorite Cold Stone Creamery will soon be opening a new location at 6000 W Osceola Pkwy in Kissimmee, according to recent public records.

The popular brand is notable for its high-quality ice cream and bold flavors such as Cake Batter (invented by Cold Stone) and the legendary Founder’s Favorite, which is made up of sweet cream ice cream with pecans, brownie, fudge and caramel.

“It is my first Cold Stone,” franchisee Timothy Dorr tells What Now Orlando. “I also run Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, Carvel Ice Cream, and Jamba Juice locations.”

When asked about his motivation to open on Osceola Parkway, Mr. Dorr points to familiarity with the location.

“I’ve been doing business with Gaylord Palms for a number of years Cinnabon and Jamba. A space opened up there.”

So when will the location open?

“Mid-December,” he says.
