CrossMarc Services finalized a long-term lease agreement with ELJ Zulia Bakery, doing business as Venezuela Bakery, for a 2,415-square-foot, second-generation restaurant space at Glenbrook Commons, 1714 U.S. Highway 27 in Clermont.
The new location is now open and marks Venezuela Bakery’s third restaurant in Central Florida, joining existing sites in Orlando at 4751 Old Goldenrod Road and Davenport at 7537 Osceola Polk Line Road.
Venezuela Bakery is a restaurant and bakery known for its fresh-baked breads, pastries, and traditional Venezuelan specialties, including tequeños (cheese-filled pastries), cachitos (ham-filled rolls), arepas, empanadas, and a variety of cakes and desserts. The bakery offers both sweet and savory dishes that highlight the rich flavors of Venezuelan cuisine.
Flavia Kanyago, Vice President of Sales & Leasing at CrossMarc Services, negotiated the lease on behalf of Glenbrook Commons’ ownership. The transaction brings the 64,707-square-foot shopping center to 100 percent occupancy, reflecting the area’s rapid growth and strong demand for dining and retail options.
Glenbrook Commons fronts Clermont’s primary north-south thoroughfare, U.S. Highway 27, and is anchored by Fitness CF. Other major tenants include AutoZone, CVS, Little Academy, China Gourmet, and Pizzano’s Pizza.
Three outparcels—measuring 0.62 acre, 1.09 acre, and 1.75 acre—remain available for sale or lease at the center.
“Venezuela Bakery is a great addition to Glenbrook Commons and the Clermont community,” said Flavia Kanyago in a statement. “Their unique menu of fresh-baked Venezuelan breads, pastries, and savory dishes, combined with welcoming sit-down casual dining, will bring something new and exciting to the area.”
