Culver’s, the Wisconsin-based fast-casual restaurant that serves ButterBurgers and frozen custard, is opening an additional Orlando restaurant.

Culver’s Franchise Group, Bowe Group, has filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation to open an eatery at an “to be discussed” address on Lee Road in Orlando. An opening date has not yet been announced.

Culver’s was founded in 1984 by the Culver family in Saul City, Wisconsin. The chain has now grown to more than 600 locations across 24 states and is loved for its midwestern food and midwestern friendliness. The company specializes in its signature ButterBurgers — a burger made with Wisconsin beef cradled in a toasted, buttered bun. The restaurant also offers cheese curds made with real Wisconsin cheddar and frozen custard made with fresh Wisconsin dairy.

Culver’s also places great importance on the customer service experience. Guests are greeted at the front door, are provided friendly service, and food is even delivered to cars at the drive-thru.

In addition, Culver’s extends the same level of care to its employees who receive free meals, competitive pay, access to healthcare, on-the-job training and advancement, and 401(k) plans.

Culver’s also raises funds and awareness to help farmers and ranchers through its Thank You Farmers Project.
