Bad A’s Burgers will open this summer at 4205 Curry Ford Road. Owner John Collazo told What Now Miami that he wants to present his customers with the highest quality food, like Australian Wagyu beef, but make it available and affordable for the masses.

He will use the build your own burger option where the base price for a burger, fries, and drink is $11.95. The fries will be hand-cut, the ice cream will be freshly made and Collazzo told What Now Miami that he has plans for a deep-fried apple pie that is going to wow everyone.

Bad A’s Burgers will also serve fried chicken sandwiches, soft drinks, beer, and wine.

Collazo is also the owner of Bad A’s Sandwiches, the food truck, and restaurant. He’s been in the hospitality industry since he was 17 years old and was working as a kitchen manager. He then attended the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College to immerse himself in the business.

Collazo helped open restaurants in Philadelphia, New York, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vinyard where he held high-level positions in award-winning restaurants like Anaelle and Hugo, KASA Restaurant & Bar, and Raga Restaurant. He’s got fine dining experience and has the flair to create food for everyday people.
