Double O’s Coffee, the growing central Florida-based coffee chain, will soon be debuting a Ocoee debut, within the Ocoee Corners shopping center at 11050 W Colonial Dr, according to a recent report in The Orlando Business Journal.

“Springfield, Missouri-based Andy’s Frozen Custard and Orlando-based Double O’s Coffee each have new locations coming soon to Ocoee, both within Winter Garden-based Boyd Development Corp.’s 13-acre Ocoee Corners project on the site of the former Colony Plaza hotel,” the report states.

What Now Orlando briefly contacted founder Colby O’Brien who shares that the location will be opening in “mid-September.”

When asked why the brand chose to open a Ocoee location, O’Brien points to his own familiarity with the town.

“I am from Windermere, so we are locals to Ocoee and it’s a growing city with a lot of new businesses,” adding that the location will receive a lot of traffic and isn’t close to many coffee options nearby.

Defining the company’s mission on the official website, O’Brien states “While searching for the best beans, I wanted something that would align with the Double O’s Coffee culture.”

“Building a relationship with coffee and tea producers has been an amazing experience as well as a great opportunity. This allows us to provide the best quality roast while providing the best experience for our customers.”
