According to recent public records, an independent ice cream place is soon opening its second location in St. Cloud.

“We have probably around 70 flavors of ice cream, but that’s not the only thing we have,” owner of Rolled Ice Cream Louis Young enthusiastically tells What Now Orlando. “We’ll also serve patbingsu, the Korean dessert, and taiyaki, a Japanese sweet cake, an original Japanese recipe.”

“Our most popular flavors are cookies and cream, but the Almond Joy and caramel apple cider are also very good. Also the red velvet,” he states.

“We make it all from scratch yourselves and pour it out onto a very cold frozen pan, churn and mix on that pan, and then, of course, spread it out and roll it up.”

But ice cream is not all for Mr. Young and his team.

“We have smoothies as well. All of our fruit comes from Colombia. We add no sugar to them. It’s amazing. We’ll have banana, strawberry, tamarind, mango, pineapple and more.”

So why St. Cloud?

“I think that St. Cloud is just a really nice up and coming area. And plus give people a chance for something different. There’s nothing like this in that area.”

Until the establishment opens in late December, eager readers can find another location in Waterford Lakes.
