According to recent reporting, a popular local breakfast business soon will open its first independent location in Winter Garden.
Eggdose, originally a local food truck which debuted in early 2024, plans to debut a proper brick and mortar establishment in spring 2026 at 186 S. Main St. in Shops at Smith & Main, a new development.
“We’ve always believed that a great day starts with a great breakfast,” the official website states.
“Sandwiches and eggs are a big part of our mornings. It isn’t just about food—it is about family, comfort, and starting the day with something made with love. That’s what inspired us to open Eggdose. Here, we keep things simple and tasty, just for you.”
Leading the concept are Geyson Suarez and his sons Samuel and Matias. According to the OBJ, Matias Suarez, CEO, has prior experience in the fashion industry and spearheaded the company’s branding and plans to carry that style forward into the new location.
“We wanted to make it more convenient to have a really amazing breakfast,” he said. “That’s what Eggdose is. Our goal is to make the best breakfast food in the United States.”
The new Eggdose will open in a 1,200-square-foot space in the new development and is filling one of several open storefronts in the building.
“I want to learn how to build a restaurant and learn how can we evolve this thing called Eggdose, to learn as much as possible, get all that knowledge and use it for the next one and the next one and the next one,” said Suarez to the OBJ.
