Ellie Lou’s Brews & BBQ recently filed a plan review with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, signifying that they are making progress toward opening their third unit in the Flamingo Crossings development. What Now on Wednesday spoke with brand director Jeanie Harbin for details.

The unit will appear at 153 Sugar Belle Dr, where it will neighbor Persimmon Hollow Brewing Company and LIME Fresh Mexican Grill.

The brand, who told What Now last October, that they were planning to open in May of this year. However, following the plan review, which was filed on June 27, 2022, What Now connected with Harbin, who shared that they are now eyeing an opening in October. Currently, the brand is in the permitting stage. Harbin emphasized that the October opening date could be subject to more delays. An exact reason for the delays is unknown.

The brand, which was founded by Ellen Korbin in 2013, is now growing to its third Central Florida location. To read more about the brand, check their official social media and website.
