Brew NSB, an ambitious and original new locally-owned coffee shop, will soon be opening in New Smyrna Beach, according to recent public records. The establishment will be located at 424 Luna Bella Lane, within suite 123, near eateries such as Bistro 424 and The Hapy Deli.

What Now Orlando recently spoke to owner Stacy Steele to get the full lowdown on this exciting development.

“We had a roastery in Sanford,” Steele says. “And there wasn’t a whole lot in terms of coffee shops in our general vicinity of Venetian Bay, so it was our main objective to bring the first full-service coffee shop to town.”

The coffee, both brew and espresso, that Stacy and her husband Rob plan to serve will be imported from Colombia, Brazil, Ethiopia, Honduras, Guatemala, and Peru. Adding that they “love pups”, the couple are happy to announce that the coffee shop will be pet-friendly—and in an attractive location.

“We’re going to have outdoor seating too. There’s actually a park in front of us with a fountain, so it’ll be really pretty. Indoors, we’re going for a modern boho feel, with lots of greenery, setting a good vibe. We’ll also be serving beer, wine, and mimosas.”

And what could readers expect in way of food offerings?

“Our signature item will be a brew-rito, which will be our version of a burrito, along with some baked goods and giant stuffed cookies, along with avocado toasts, waffles, stuff like that.”

It’s not quite clear just yet when exactly the coffee shop is set to open, given that the establishment is still in the process of dealing with permits and government entities.

“We hope to open in May but it’s tentative as anything could come up and postpone it.”
