Olde Hearth Bread Company broke the news via social media last week that they would be moving out of East End Market at the end of the month. According to the Bungalower, in the New Year, Dochi will make a move from their current EEM space to the Olde Hearth’s location.
Dochi sells mochi donuts, a blend of American-style doughnuts and Japanese mochi rice cakes. Their fried creations are light and airy, and styled with colorful glazes and toppings with unique flavor combinations you won’t find at any classic donut shop.
Their current menu is themed out for the holidays with flavors like Peppermint Mocha, Gingerbread, Snowy Ube, and Matcha which is festively designed to look like a wreath.
The business prides itself on their close ties with their community and their locations are run by their family and friends. Dochi operates locations in Seattle, Denver, with two locations in Orlando, their flagship store being in East End Market.
A new tenant is expected to take over Dochi’s former second level stall in the New Year. No word yet on what type of vendor will move into the newly vacated space. Stay updated with East End Market on Facebook and check out Dochi’s current menu on Instagram.
