A Mongolian barbecue restaurant will open in the old Firehouse Subs location at 2217 E Colonial Drive, Orlando Weekly was first to report.

Co-Owner Vinnie Le confirmed the news in a telephone conversation with What Now Orlando, saying the plan is to debut the new concept in fall 2021.

Hoi Nguyen, owner of Mills 50 District restaurants King Bao, Poke Hana, Chi-Kin and Matcha House, and Joe Le are partners in the operation, whose concept is a quick-service, build-a-bowl restaurant featuring Mongolian barbecue flavors.

Customers can choose starches, proteins, vegetables, and sauces that will be cooked on one of seven tabletop stir fry tables in front of them. Mongolorian is projected to open late October or early November 2021.

Firehouse Subs closed its doors amid the pandemic in July 2020.
