The growing Florida-based concept Foxtail Coffee will soon be opening a location at 1795 W Princeton St as part of the Packing District Juice Stand.

“The original orange juice stand, which stood on the site in the early 1900s, welcomed travelers driving south on Orange Blossom Trail. The updated version of the stand serves to welcome visitors and residents to the $700 million, 202-acre Packing District development,” a recent Community Paper report states.

Defining their mission statement on the company website, Alex Tchekmeian and co-founder Iain Yeakle state “Alex and Iain launched Foxtail on simple and basic principles – to roast great coffee that guests can enjoy in an inviting and comfortable environment. Believing coffee should be purposeful, celebrated, and enjoyed, they built a company that approaches producing coffee as a craft and serving coffee as a celebration.”

Readers unfamiliar with the rapidly expanding brand can expect a classic selection of espresso-based drinks, batch brew, tea, and the brand’s “world famous cold brew.”

No opening date has yet been set.
