Grilled Cheezus, the all-things-cheesy eatery that’s made a name for itself since its first location opened in Downtown Orlando in 2019, is opening a second restaurant in the Mills 50 district, according to reporting by the Bungalower.
The former location of Bites and Bubbles, Grilled Cheezus will occupy the front half of 912 N. Mills Avenue in Orlando. The 1,100 square-foot building is currently undergoing renovations, and an anticipated opening date has not yet been announced.
Operating under the slogan “Mildly Offensive, but Sharply Delicious,” Grilled Cheezus specializes in waffle-pressed artisan grilled cheese sandwiches with names like Devil Wears Ciabatta–mozzarella and provolone cheese, prosciutto, pesto aioli, and a balsamic glaze on a ciabatta roll.
The new location is expected to have a similar menu as the downtown restaurant, including tomato bisque, Mac and cheese, candied bacon, and salad options, as well as Grilled Cheezus’ signature dessert, Gimme S’more–brioche with Nutella and marshmallow spread, marshmallow fluff, and graham cracker.
