According to OBJ, Hollerbach’s German Restaurant will take over the kitchen at a nearby music venue with a new burger concept. The popular downtown Sanford restaurant will soon be operating out of Tuffy’s Music Box and Lounge at 200 Myrtle Ave.

Reporting states that the fast-casual restaurant will serve “Oklahoma-style smashed burgers, flavorful chicken sandwiches and frozen treats by Hollerbach’s Executive Chef Patrick Story.” The upcoming Burgerbach concept will also provide a “high-end tiki cocktail bar” called Suffering Bastard with separate Hawaiian-inspired food offerings.

“We are incredibly excited about this new chapter,” Hollerbach’s CEO Christina Hollerbach said in an official announcement. “Tuffy’s has always been a fantastic venue for live music and entertainment, and we are eager to complement that with our culinary offerings. This partnership allows us to blend our passion for great food with the vibrant atmosphere that Tuffy’s is known for.”

No official opening date has been announced.
