Hui Lau Shan, a new and independent eatery, is heading to 831 N Mills Avenue this fall, according to recent public records.

“It’s a dessert establishment that will serve Hong Kong-style, mango-based desserts,” owner Sana Mai tells What Now Orlando.

When asked why she chose to set up shop on Mills Avenue, Mrs. Mai points to the promise of its demographics.

“It’s a very busy Asian community there, near other Asian restaurants so we’re hoping to find a lot of people who are looking to have Asian food, desserts, and drinks.”

So when can eager readers expect to try Sai’s sweets?

“We will probably open in October or November 2024.”
