Ron Ramsey, founder of Ice Cream Hut, confirmed with What Now on Monday that the brand is planning to launch another location in central Florida. So far, the Ice Cream Hut has three other outfits in the area, two in Rockledge and one in Cocoa Beach.
According to a plan review filed with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the new location will appear at 910 Barton Boulevard, at the Village Green Shopping Center. The dessert shop will near Autumn’s Crab Seafood and will be close to the brand’s other Rockledge location at 829 Barton Boulevard.
We can expect to find the brand serving signature menu items like milkshakes, shaved ice, sundae’s and banana splits.
The brand is nearing the final stages of the pre-opening process, and they plan to open up some time in early May, but an exact date is not available. Ramsey shared that the brand is also beginning a larger expansion initiative, and they are in negotiations with potential franchisees as of now.
