The growing ramen sit-down chain Ichiddo Ramen will soon be opening a Vero Beach location, according to a recent plan review filed with the State of Florida. The restaurant will be located at 5970 20th St, within the Indian River Square shopping center, near eateries such as Chipotle and Olive Garden.

Franchisee Xuan Lin tells What Now Orlando that this will be his first foray into running a ramen-centered establishment.

“I have owned other restaurants, such as Takaro Steakhouse, but this will be my first ramen restaurant. I have a lot of friends who have done the same and it’s gone well for them.”

When asked why he has chosen this specific location in Vero Beach, Mr. Lin gives a simple response.

“I live here! I know the area well.”

Beyond the standard offering of ramen, Mr. Lin adds that they will serve drinks such as boba tea and appetizers such as chicken wings.

Regarding the restaurant’s opening, Mr. Lin does not have a clear answer just yet.

“I’m not sure because the construction is just starting.”

Until the new Vero Beach location opens its doors, curious readers will have to find themselves in NY, TN, or MN for the Ichiddo experience.
