More frozen desserts and summertime eats are headed to the area soon. What Now on Friday spoke with owner Jonathan Tosto to confirm the details.

Right along 441, near Lake Griffin, the new concept will open at 1331 N 14th St. The new restaurant will be down the road from eateries like Kern Family Kitchen and Ramshackle Café.

Tosto estimates that they will open sometime in August. As of now, they are waiting for their plans to be approved by the city. What Now found a plan review filed by the business with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation on May 3, 2022. The filing is still in process.

This will be their first location, and Tosto plans to open other Icy Kings in the future, but he didn’t have locations to share as of now.
