Lake Eustis Waterfront Grille, an expansive lakeside restaurant, is currently near the end of construction and furnishing and aims to make its debut at 350 Lakeshore Drive in Eustis by October 1st, co-owner Daniel DiVenanzo tells What Now Orlando. The Grille will be the fourth restaurant under Mr. DiVenanzo’s ownership, years after running The Dinner Train, a full-fledged restaurant operating within a moving train.
According to DiVenanzo, the restaurant will offer dishes such as New York strip, a variety of salads, gator, and a wide selection of fresh fish, which Mr. DiVenanzo is hopeful will be a huge draw for diners. There also will be vegetarian offerings for plant-based diners, like DiVenanzo himself.
When asked what will make Lake Eustis Waterfront Grille so special, DiVenanzo is unsure of where to start. “This is one of my most favorite projects in my life,” DiVenanzo tells What Now Orlando. “The restaurant has a panoramic, northerly-facing view of Lake Eustis which is one of the premier sailing lakes in all of Florida. The view is literally spectacular.”
Indeed, the restaurant’s structure is impressive. Boasting 5000 square feet, seating 170, and standing two stories tall with large windows that provide sweeping views of Lake Eustis, the location itself is sure to attract diners for years to come. But perhaps no one is more excited about the restaurant than DiVenanzo himself, who is partnering with James K. Berry in this venture.
“This was a beautiful opportunity at an old, established marina. The deal just came together,” DiVenanzo says. “We’re having a lot of fun here.”
