Omega Bites & Bar, a new locally owned concept in Sanford, is currently in the works, according to recent public records. The upcoming spot will be found at 110 East 1st Street.

“The general concept will be an upscale bar and lounge with small bites,” owner Joey Acevedo tells What Now Orlando. “We’re gonna be serving sirloin steak bites, seafood, but mainly it’ll be a lounge from Miami or Vegas.”

When asked about the prospective opening timeline, Mr. Acevedo points to the end of the year.

“We just started! We’re shooting for December; right now, we’re waiting on permits, hoping to start construction soon.”

Mr. Acevedo adds the establishment will boast a full liquor selection and live entertainment on the weekends.

“We’re going to have a little bit of everything,” he enthused.

No exact opening date has been set.
