Jack in the Box, the fast food restaurant with a clown theme, is coming to Longwood, according to the City’s interactive development map.

The restaurant’s website confirmed the news, adding that the restaurant, located at 815 W. State Road 434, would be open February 2026.

An investor report issued by Jack in the Box, notes that franchisee Ed Zausch has signed on to be the first to bring Jack in the Box back to Florida. “Our team is beyond excited to bring ten new Jack in the Box locations to the greater Orlando area,” said  Zausch, adding, “I ultimately chose Jack in the Box for the great relationships I built with their team, their vast training and operational support, modern store design, and – my favorite reason – I love the variety of menu items and how we have something to offer everyone.”

Jack in the Box was founded in 1051, by Robert Peterson in San Diego, California. The drive-thru was unique for its clown head that would talk to customers when they ordered their food.

The fast food restaurant is popular for its diverse menu that offers everything from burgers and chocken sandwiches to tacos and all-day breakfast. The chain also sells shakes, salads, and kids’ meals.
