The national sandwich chain Jersey Mike’s Subs aims to open a new location at 1685 North Hancock Road in Minneola, according to a recent filing. The location will be in the new Hills Crossing shopping center which features a large Publix and a Starbucks.

The store will be run by franchisee Jacob Richard who What Now Orlando briefly contacted. He was working in the store and was not immediately available for comment, apart from confirmation of franchisee status.

Founded in 1956 and boasting 2310 locations, the national brand is notable for its range of sandwich options, such as hot subs that can be topped with steak, chicken, and grilled mushrooms and cold subs that can be topped with turkey, ham, prosciutto, and a variety of cheeses. Jersey Mike’s also features the enormous Giant Sub which can feed up to four people.
