Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream is opening a location in Lake Mary.
Orlando Weekly reported the news that the local ice cream chain will open a scoop shop at 801 W. Lake Mary Boulevard, at the former Stacked Brownie location. The shop is slated to open by the end of December 2025.
Owners Kelly and Scott Seidl started making ice cream in their home kitchen for friends and family. The ice cream was so well received, that the couple started selling their wares from a pink food truck at local farmers markets before opening their first shop in Orlando’s Audubon Park neighborhood. Today, there are multiple locations, including dozens inside Foxtail Coffee shops, along with the original pink truck.
There are more than 100 different Kelly’s ice cream and sorbet recipes, with each shop offering both core favorites and an ever-changing selection of new kinds to try. Core flavors include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, butter pecan, mint chocolate chip, coffee, and toasted coconut. Additional flavors are rotated seasonally.
In addition to ice cream scoops, Kelly’s offers ice cream cakes, party packs, and even dog-friendly ice cream. Ice cream fans can also join Kelly’s Pint Club where members receive an exclusive “Pint-Club-only” flavor each month.
