Casa Daza, a popular pop-up empanada operation, will soon be anchoring itself in a new commissary kitchen as it eyes a potential brick-and-mortar outpost, according to a recent interview with co-owner Alyssa Daza.
“We’re in the works of finding a spot,” Mrs. Daza tells What Now Orlando. “We just have to find a location.”
Mrs. Daza explains that while the eventual brick-and-mortar will indeed serve up Daza’s popular empanadas, the menu will be diversified to include other offerings.
When asked when this transition will occur, Mrs. Daza says that they are aiming to sign a lease by the end of the year.
“Casa Daza started with a crave of freedom. Freedom to share a little bit of family with a little bit of culture,” the official website states.
“Owners Alyssa and Geovanny Daza are of Latino descent. Him Colombian, her Puerto Rican, together they’ve created buzz in central Florida catering to the construction industry. First starting at job sites, now taking it to the next level.”
