As Acropolis Greek Taverna approaches its imminent North Orange opening, it will be looking to expand in the area and beyond.

“We went and looked at it and liked the space. Obviously, there’s better traffic over there with the courthouse,” owner Mike Mikula said about the upcoming Orlando spot.

“The space is just right for us. The kitchen is amazing — actually, larger than we need,” he said. “Everything in the whole restaurant is laid out perfectly for us. We won’t need to do any major construction.”

Mikula adds that he is looking at three to five area spots, along with potential expansion into Atlanta and Tallahassee.

“We’re actively looking to grow in the Southeast,” he said.

No addresses or opening dates have been announced.
