Bajo Zero Grados, or “Below Zero Degrees”, an upcoming locally owned ice cream shop, will soon be opening in Kissimmee, according to a recent filing with the State of Florida. The establishment will be located at 1015 W Vine Street, near El Palacio and Zaxby’s. The restaurant will occult 6250 square feet in total.

Boasting ten years of ice-cream making experience, Owner William Matos tells What Now Orlando that this will be a full-service ice cream shop, featuring fresh-made ice creams “made with natural fruit,” his first establishment in Orlando.

“Our ice cream is made on the spot, right before selling it to the public,” Matos says. “In any flavor of ice cream you choose, you can find pieces of real fruit.”

When asked which flavors best represent the upcoming shop, Matos cannot choose a few.

“Strawberries and cream, caramel, coconut, arroz con leche, but it’s really so many. We will have over 30 flavors that will appeal to anyone’s taste.”

Commenting on the Bajo Zero Grado’s opening dates, Matos is not yet one-hundred percent sure.

“We are waiting for permits to finalize and then we hope to open soon after that”
