Soce Market, a locally-owned, dine-in bodega, will soon be opening at 380 Avenue C in Winter Haven, according to a recent plan review filed with the State of Florida and confirmed to What Now Orlando by Owner Jackleen Walston. Walston also owns Adler’s, the popular Winter Haven burger joint.

Walston tells What Now Orlando that the location will essentially be a bodega, or a “healthy corner store”, featuring healthier shopping options along with in-house seating. The in-house meal offering will include sandwiches, hummus plates, soups, salads, shareable plates, along with a selection of beer and wine.

Bringing healthier options to the community is a primary motivator for Walston, who feels that there isn’t enough access to ready, fresh-made food in Winter Haven for residents to eat in or take home.

Despite several delays in the opening process, Walston is confident that she can open her doors by the end of October
